Throughout my studies, I've demonstrated my ability to translate complex artistic concepts into engaging lessons, achieving milestones such as curating art exhibitions and designing innovative interdisciplinary projects. This program has not only honed my technical skills but also cultivated strong interpersonal and communication abilities crucial for effective teaching. My academic journey through Animal Care QQI Level 5 and Animal Science Level 6 has been a dynamic exploration of small and large animal studies, encompassing a comprehensive understanding of veterinary clinic practices and laboratory procedures. Over the course of two years, I delved into the intricacies of animal care, mastering the practical aspects of handling and tending to both small and large animals. Immersed in veterinary clinic environments, I gained invaluable hands-on experience, learning the nuances of animal health, nutrition, and medical treatments.

As an artist, I have successfully operated my online business for over 4 years. In this role, I've cultivated a diverse skill set, excelling in commissioned art and portrait painting. My experience extends beyond creating compelling visual narratives, as I've effectively managed the business aspects of selling my work online, demonstrating a unique blend of artistic prowess and entrepreneurial acumen.

Irish Prison Education Service

As an Exhibition and Curator Assistant, I collaborated with Tom Shortt, the Arts Development Officer and Coordinator of the Irish Prison Education Service. Our focus was curating and setting up an impactful exhibition showcasing prisoners' artworks at the Dunamaise Arts Centre in Portlaoise. This experience deepened my appreciation for the transformative power of art and strengthened my organisational and curatorial skills.

In my nearly three-year tenure as a Supervisor, I took charge of operational tasks, overseeing a restaurant, four bars, and fast-food operations. Excelling in administrative duties, customer service, and comprehensive food and beverage management, I ensured seamless event execution while further developing my leadership and teamwork skills. This progression reflects a continuous commitment to excellence, showcasing my evolution from a dedicated Assistant to a proficient and effective Supervisor in the dynamic hospitality industry.

Successfully coordinated the collection and distribution of these items, bringing joy and comfort to animals in need.
